Offensive subjects: I'm good at playing with all subjects, though a check in for suicide is preferred since that limit is a variable.

Injuring this character: Yes, but also talk first for anything major. Or if you want anything major to stick. He's a weird thing.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes, but be warned, he has the potential to notice.
Anything else: Shadow is a former villain, so while he is Doing His Best to be a better person, that is motivated by want of approval from heroic figures, not because he wants to be a good person on its own merits. So his potential to be terrible is still very there.
Weird Stuff About Shadow
Appearance: Bears a striking resemblance to this guy though its not exactly identical. Since he's the shadow of a Different Link. Shadow's clothes are also part of his body. They can be 'removed' like clothes, but they'll also disappear without contact. They also have a tendency to move on their own. Think shadows dancing in candlelight. His coloration is also variable. He has purple hair, blue eyes, tanned skin as a general rule.
What He Is: Shadow is the literal shadow and shadow of the heart of his owner, the second Four Sword Link. He is a creature born out of negativity and feels negative emotions far more intensely then positive ones. So people who get dark creatures, shadow creatures, weird heart creatures, or partial souls, he's hitting those pings.
Soul Stuff: There is an extremely strong connection to Link, since his owner is still his reincarnation, and a fainter one to Zelda, because fate and destiny and all that.
What Are Physics: Since Shadow is a literal shadow, his relationship to things like 'gravity' and 'having physical matter' are extremely tenuous at best. He will randomly float and morph and just do weird movement things.
Powers of note: He can do mind control! He is unlikely to do it, but there is that possibility. He has shadow abilities and dark magic, which are different things. He can also create things through force of will thanks to his previous game. He is also a shapeshifter. Much like his clothes, he can create a sword and shield from shadows that disappear without contact to him.
